UD Spotlight
Flyer Media
Through Flyer Media, the University of Dayton’s student-run media organization, students can gain valuable hands-on experience in TV, radio and journalism. For communication major Ky’ree ’24, Flyer TV provided opportunities to build real-world skills — at UD and in Hollywood.

At the University of Dayton, we understand that a college education is one of the most important investments that students and families will make.
As admitted students begin to receive and review their personalized financial aid offers, we’re here to help with any questions. If students or their families have questions, please encourage them to:
- Explore our financial aid offer resources page with helpful videos, frequently asked questions and important information.
- Schedule a 1:1 meeting with the student’s admission counselor to discuss their family’s options and plan for success.

Porches is now open for confirmed students to take important next steps, including completing the housing contract, registering for orientation and more.
Accessing Porches
After confirming enrollment, students receive an email to activate their UD online account. Once their account is activated, students can log in to Porches to access their personalized To-do List and begin completing tasks.
Students should continue checking their Porches To-do List for updates throughout the spring and summer.

At UD, we help first-year students create a community of peers who will support them throughout their college journeys. Our vision for residential learning goes beyond housing, as we create an integrated learning and living experience across four years. In the Catholic and Marianist tradition, we provide services, programs and facilities that foster leadership, community, civility and faith.
UD guarantees on-campus housing for students who confirm enrollment by May 1 — no additional housing deposit is required.

The Office of Learning Resources (OLR) at UD empowers students by removing barriers. Students in all majors can access resources to help them perform at their highest academic level.
From accommodations for learning differences to tutoring for a challenging class, students can take advantage of a variety of services — all at no cost. In fact, more than half of first-year students utilize OLR services.
